Guest Reviews

"Good country hotel"
30 August 2016
Keith Brown, South Africa
"While Garies doesn't have much to write home about, the hotel is something of an oasis. Old-style charm (from another era), but with modern en-suite, very friendly staff and all spotlessly clean. Restaurant fair. We enjoyed our night's stay there."

"Just OK for an overnight stop. Better stopovers available in Springbok"
"Enjoyed our stay"

"A quaint 50's style hotel with no frills but spotlessly clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Only stayed one night but would not hesitate to go back."
"Sam from Cape Town"

"It's roughly what one can expect from a 1 star establishment. Fulfills all the requirements of an overnight stay- nothing more.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Breakfast is basic and the only choice you have is between brown or white toast.Rooms and linen are very clean.Dissapointed that we did not get the en-suite that we booked instead got rooms with communal toilet and shower."
"Very pleasant"

"The room, the restaurant were very clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly. We loved the old, wooden floors, the creaking when walking on them. That old style. Loved it.Would certainly book in again if we go that way again."
